Yes! Booking a service outside our hours of operation incurs a $20 fee for each 30 minute increment outside of our hours. For example, if you need us to arrive for a service at 7 AM, but standard hours for that service are 8 AM to Sunset, an additional $40 would be added to your invoice.
We do not charge extra for medication administration.
It is our belief that a force-free, positive reinforcement-based approach to dogs is most in line with modern science regarding animal welfare.
We strive to treat your pets with gentleness, empathy and patience.
We pay close attention to canine and feline body language and use their communication to guide our actions.
The goal is always a stress-free experience for your pet(s)!
We source treats that are sustainable & palatable with limited ingredient lists.

We let dogs stop and sniff as much as they want! This is important natural behavior for dogs.
Your dog(s) are allowed to walk ahead of us if they wish. They do not have to walk in a heel at all times.
We give them agency when possible: for example, choosing the walk route (within reason) & when to stop and sniff.
Chris and I want your dog(s) to fully enjoy their walk and come home satisfied, relaxed, and happy!
If the other dog's parent is in sight, we ask them to call their dog back.
If there is no human around or the dog doesn’t listen, we move away while tossing treats towards the dog (this is for distraction while we create distance).
If the dog is pursuing and Chris is with us, he intercepts and tries to leash the dog (we carry a slip lead for this purpose).
I also carry pepper spray for emergency use.
Sometimes a meeting is not able to be prevented.
We do what we can to mitigate this risk, but it is never 100% avoidable!
